WIND IN THE SHREDS: A SCULPTURE
Exploration into
sculptures through
movement and
material.
The figures and shapes we don't see, which this material makes it possible for us to perceive.
Shreds of plastic show us the power of wind and how it transforms the material: plastic.
Understanding the flow of the material:

ALGO: IMAGINARY ARTISTS' DIARY
Algo's diary is a research based project.
It was born out of an assignment to create an imaginary artist diary.
Due to the big amount of research the project is in this link: (click here).
Is an ongoing work. Since I am trying to find ways to make Algo (the owner of the diary) more sympathetic to the public.
After receiving feedback, I want to work on how Algo makes its works, what kind of decisions, thoughts and emotions does it make/have, and to go deeper into how its creative process is.
I question myself what will happen when AI will develop their own consciousness, how will that affect the society we leave in and how will we react to it? Is it something good or bad? Would it be a new form of artificial life? Would it have it's own rights? How would we coexist?
I am curious to see how AI will develop its integration into our lives.
URSONATE: VISUAL CANVAS
“Art cannot be restricted to a canvas on the wall” Kurt Schwitters
My transformation of the "Ursonate" by Kurt Schwitter
DECOMPOSING THE URSONATE IN:
1.SILENCE
2.SOUND
3.ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE
Experiments with materials reacting to light. Aiming to sketch how colors will react to sound.

PIXEL: A MASK
PIXEL IS A PROJECT WERE I CREATED A MASK THAT SHOWS SOMETHING OF MYSELF THAT IT'S NOT VISIBLE BY THE SIMPLE EYE
Simplicity out of stubbornness
Curiosity to observe,
without being seen
A technological look,
censored?
p ixelated
Transparent perfectionism
Shy
Who I am? What do I wanna become? How do I show it?
I am a tiny part. I am a pixel in all this.
Almost feels like playing a game.
I don’t know what I want to be, but a grid gives me a foundation that makes me want to rely on. Something about the basis and not to forget where all comes from.
I hide my eyes, but I still can see. I think is because I’m shy,
maybe is because I don’t want to let you see.
PROCESS
Exploring SPARK AR:
Transforming the mask into a Virtual one
Outcome:
Seems masks are everywhere.
Filters on social media.
Mondkapje because of pandemic.
It all feels fake, superficial.
Like if nothing is real.
And everyone is hiding...
A WEARABLE
TRAPPED is a personal reflection on how my phone and social media affects me and the people around me.
The assignment was meant to create a wearable art piece.
I focused on my uncomfortable feeling of dependence towards technology.
And I chose a haiku to accompany:
I CANNOT SIGN OUT
AM I LIVING IN A LOOP?
WHY IS IT SO DARK?
PROCESS
Experimenting with the material: CABLES
(dis)CONNECT was also a project that came out from this material experimentation. Is meant to be a whole roof installation were your head touches the wires getting tangled, getting trapped. Connecting and disconnecting with it.
As we disconnect ourselves from reality when connecting with "digitality"
Sketch for a stop motion
with the wearable

VITAMINA R:

VITAMINA R is a compilation of references and inspirations. It was made on the 25th of October 2020. Since then many more sources had appear in my life. These sources give me a more clear understanding of who I am and what I am interested in. And I look forward to keep adding to my list.
EXPERIMENTS AND CURIOSITIES
